I’ll never mandate paid subscription*
Note: **The Prometheus Hub page/post** compiles most of the research and resources [1,500+] I’ve used/found/analyzed/watched/etc. during [and prior to] my efforts with DRASTIC, so that those who are looking for more about COVID’s origins can find it in one place.
*..but I won’t turn down donations via subscription.* Every donation means another spike protein of justice, riding a lipid nanoparticle across the blood-brain barrier of the bureaucracy.

Unintended Consequences
I figured I should take a moment and introduce myself a little bit since many of my readers are new.
Well, actually, all of my readers are new, depending on how one looks at the situation. My very first post here was on February 25th, and 10 days earlier I had 2 followers on Twitter. My Purpose has never been to build a following, become an influencer, or carve out a blogging niche in pursuit of ‘making a difference,’ however. What drove me was getting sick on March 9th, 2020, after returning from an MBA trip in Prague. When I finally found a place to get tested, the 24-hour private ER closed down before I came inside, and the fear in the eyes of the entire staff [who stayed practice, since they’d never tested someone for COVID before] told me that I needed to have a heart-to-heart with my family, and then my friends, because I knew that as clarity rises, resilience rises with it.
To my horror, our political leaders and public health officials mostly took the opposite approach, by calling on us to place our trust in them and pretending that they had all of the answers. As the pandemic has dragged on further and further, the idiocy at the top has been magnified by the willingness of cowardly leaders to double-down on illogical safe-side measures whose only benefit is to reduce their [electoral] liability as much as possible.*
**Oops - I forgot to put a SPOILER ALERT warning before that sentence
I don’t want to rehash my own personal origin story, but the wavetops are that my career in the Marines was spent in CBRN [WMD, Weapons of Mass Destruction] defense; I’ve done extensive modeling of potential contaminated areas, spent 3 years as a Warrant Officer Instructor/Curriculum Developer, 8 years as the CBRN Chief for the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group [the command for the 2,000 Marines that guard ~180 embassies and consulates, etc. What’s been surprising is how important my M.A. in Ancient/Classical History has been, because it acclimatized me to the volume of research needed to do a COVID-19 origin investigation right.
Yes, but what is Prometheus Shrugged supposed to be?
Well, for the first year of the pandemic, I published articles on Facebook or LinkedIn. I’m not sure how I escaped the censors, but it could’ve been because I was paying to advertise - just to try to get more attention for the lab-leak possibility. In February, I went to to Twitter just to ask some questions of one of DRASTIC’s members., and wound up as part of the investigative group [DRASTIC will be the topic of an upcoming article].
Long-term, I expect my content to focus on current events, politics, leadership, sarcasm, and the impact of technological growth on human society. My expectation is to publish 1 longer article each week, along with 1-2 shorter commentaries, with random goodies like my Halloween tribute to Dr. Fauci, a re-write of the song 'Sounds of Silence,' sprinkled in whenever I’m inspired.
“Charles, I’m a long-time subscriber and I’ve noticed your output was weak sauce in September & October. I donate out of pity, but you gotta up your game, especially with Alex Berenson on here now.”
Ouch. That would probably hurt if I still had a soul, but the Marine Corps beat that out of me, so…
Alex Berenson was a well-known journalist who then exploded as an advocate for honest discussions about the COVID mRNA vaccines. He’s got ~250k subscribers, makes 6 figures each month, and has only been on Substack for 3 months. In other words, he can afford to do what he wants now. Not that I’m jealous.
But, I can’t even afford to do this right now, so it’s a good thing I’m committed, lol. The one thing I’ll point out is that I’ve got fairly good excuses to cover for my lower output recently:
-DRASTIC released our PREEMPT analysis on 9/20 and EcoHealth Alliance's PREEMPT proposal documents on 9/21. The documents were provided by a whistleblower, and I coordinated and helped write our 22-page group analysis.
-My wife’s best friend was hospitalized with COVID-19 on 9/13 and died on 9/22; she’d been my wife’s maid of honor [and vice versa] and was only 26. I’d already been wanting to travel to DC to take stock of the current status of the 3 COVID-origin congressional investigations, but not under those circumstances. However, my wife is from Northern Virginia, and we’d only left the area 3 years earlier, since Quantico was my final duty station in the Marines. Thus, neither of us were in a hurry to drive back to Texas, and I made sure to poke as many relevant people[s] as I could find with a very pointy stick.
-There are a number of other projects in progress at the moment, including a TV special that I’m helping to write on Fauci & COVID [coming soon], further digging into the scientific understanding of challenges in designing vaccines for coronaviruses [building off of my PREEMPTive spike article] and my biggest current project: reverse-engineering the Wuhan outbreak of COVID-19 to show that the data provided in the WHO report by China was fabricated. I’ve been pulling information from more than 100 sources [mostly Chinese] to piece together an accurate timeline, and now I’m extracting info from ~a dozen maps like this to track the geo-spatial distribution of cases and deaths within the 13 districts of the city of 11 million:
There’s a reason why that one has taken six months.
Hopefully, this quasi introduction/update peeled back some layers on the onion.
On February 26th, when my first Fauci article was published, I had ~40 followers on Twitter and 0 subscribers. Needless to say, I didn’t worry too much about catering to the audience’s needs. Somehow, people keep coming back, so hopefully that means that there is something here worth finding; I’ve been blessed to pass 1100 subscribers & ~3500 followers, so remember that sharing is caring. You’ve managed to find me while I’m busy trying to make the world safe for justice again. I can absolutely promise you that you’ll hear things here first - and my next article will explain the key findings so far. After that, there will be a much larger one that explains what DRASTIC has been doing, and what the current state of the evidence is.
Finally, here’s a message for DR. Fauci and the NIH:

I went to your Research Gate site, and couldn't understand its organization. A note at the bottom said the latest update was May, but there were later ones. Is it possible to have more order? That would make it more accessible and useful.
Thanks for doing it, nonetheless.
